John’s writings are conclusive, and they lead us to a different The apostle’s concern is to take us to see the things from above – the things from the spiritual realm; to have the eagle’s vision (Jn 1:1).
The ministry of John transports us to the spiritual dimension where God dwells. In it, we see that there is na open door in heaven, and God makes na invitation for all of us: “come up here” (Rev 4:1).
The gospel of John reveals that Jesus is It is symbolized by an eagle which sees everything from up high in the heavens, and it represents God. The gospel of Matthew reveals the Lord as the King of the kingdom of the heavens – the Lion of the tribe of Judah. In Mark, He is represented as an ox which typifies Jesus as the servant of God and of men, one who does not claim anything for Himself. Luke shows the Lord as a perfect man capable of fulfilling God’s work. We need to look at the Bible through the dimension of the heavens (Ez 1:5, 10; Rev 4:6-7).
