DAILY IMMERSION Wednesday | M.16 – Seek the things above where Christ lives.
When we believe in the word of the gospel, the Lord has given us our faith through believing. Not only the faith of Christ Jesus, but our own faith, as a reaction to the word of the gospel, to Christ. This faith that you have today is a gift from God that will never leave you. (Rom. 10:17)
Your faith is a gateway to access the dimension where God is. You no longer need to live like others, only for earthly things. You are different from others today because you have your faith, which leads you through this window to access eternal things, to God Himself, to who He is. (Heb. 10:38)
Although we know that we have this access, we continue to live in the earthly sphere, chasing after the wind like anyone else. We work, earn money, cheer for a soccer team like anyone else. Enough of living like this! A Christian must live in the sphere of faith! (Eccl. 2)
The Gnostics and ascetics believed that the problem was in their flesh, so they sought to deprive it of its needs to get rid of it and its consequences. That is not the way. The way is to access the things above. (Col. 2:16-23)
How is your life? Is it full of conflicts on earth? Many Christians fall into anguish, depression, torment, and have a troubled life because they do not know how to access heavenly things through the window of faith.
How can we live in the heavenly regions? How can we live in the sphere of faith? By applying the word that God gives us every week. The colporteurs discovered this secret. They discovered that it is the word that gives them strength to live in another reality.
