DAILY IMMERSION Thursday | M19 The New Man’s Tender Affections of Mercy

The Lord commissioned the church in Philadelphia to preach the gospel of the kingdom at the end of this age. The gospel of the kingdom brings the headship of Christ into people’s lives, so we no longer preach only the gospel of grace for them to be saved, but we want God to accomplish His will through them. If we do not fulfill our responsibility to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the entire inhabited earth and all nations, the end cannot come. (Matt 24:14)
The gospel of the kingdom, however, takes time to preach. Our first contact with people is through May I ray for You, through which we want to bring salvation to them. But right now there is most likely no opportunity to preach the gospel of the kingdom. So how can we fulfill our responsibility to preach the gospel of the kingdom? Through the books!
By leaving the literature in the hands of the people, the elect will be able to come into contact with the content and begin to understand the gospel of the kingdom and, later, at some point even live the church life. Thus, came colportage! In the end times the Lord helped us even taking a tool we already had to another level, then giving us dynamic colporting.
