DAILY IMMERSION Friday | M19 The New Man’s Tender Affections of Mercy

Everything we do must produce reality. Over time, we get used to living our way and let go of things from above. Is our way of living the church producing reality or is it just a repetition of what we have been doing for so many years? It may be that what we are used to doing is not connected to things from above. (Matt 7:22-23).
Truth is not something theological or debatable, but truth in love, produced in the sphere of love. The building of the church is an interweaving of love! From Christ comes the resource of love, from God Himself. Therefore, if we are immersed in the word and obedient to Christ, we will receive love from the head, from God. The resources we don’t have in our natural abilities, we need to look for things from above! The Church in Philadelphia perfects love through immersion and colporting. (Eph 4:15, Col 2:2, 1 John 4:7,8)
When we use God’s love to approach people, the more His love will be perfected in our midst. The more compacted the threads, the better and tighter a fabric is. Today the Lord is perfecting us, interweaving us with each other and with Himself.
This reality is not just for colporteurs. In married life, do we live reality and weave a fabric of God’s love or do we do our “little way”? Immersion also saves marriages!
