Peace is the result of Christ’s rule and is present when there is the kingdom and all submit to Christ’s will. Only then is there peace. When there is the government and kingdom of God, the church has righteousness, peace and joy (Col 3:15; Rom 14:17).
When we forgive each other, when we put up with each other and show compassion, what prevails betweenus is peace.
Peace indicates the rule of Christ. In the relationship between the members of the body, we must be sensitive: when there is no peace, we must immediately return to the headship of Christ.
When there is peace and the members live the life of the new man in love and with a vision of one body, there is thanksgiving. Gratitude is recognizing that we have peace of mind and security for being members of the Body of Christ and being under the command of the Head.
