DAILY IMMERSION Monday | M01 The Root of the Church’s Decline: Losing the First Love

1. A message for all the churches: the encouragement for all to be fathers and mothers in the churches, caring for people as spiritual children. Many have joined the Welcome Centers using the QR Codes that are in our books. These people need to be helped and cared for by fathers and mothers in churches, brothers and sisters who are perfected to serve in care networks. Don’t be a person who has no one to take care of. If the Lord, when He comes, finds us feeding our fellow servants, we shall be considered overcomers. (Mt 24 45-47)

2. There are precious brothers who are busy with their work, with their affairs, their families and being absorbed by the world, even failing to gather and be close to the Word. We need to take advantage of these words about Revelation 2 and 3 and locate ourselves as to the nearness of the Lord’s return. Let’s search these brethren. How much investment has already been made in each of us! We received the vision of the church! Let’s do a big sweep to look for these brethren, alerting everyone by the GPS of the Word. After a long journey, we are nearing the end. It’s worth paying the price so that, after having swam so much, you don’t die on the beach. (Heb 10:25; Rev 3:13)

3. The first warning is the risk of losing our first love. When that happens, we lose the witness of the lampstand, that is, the reality of the church’s function to shine in each city. How do we keep fresh and crazy love for the Lord? Love’s source of supply is the Word. We keep the first love by never losing our reverent love for the Word. The word is the main factor to keep us in the best love. Let’s not lose the first love. We want to love the Lord like never before. (Rev 2:4; Joh 15:10; Isa 66:1-2, KJU).

4. The Lord wants a church as the reality of the kingdom of heaven and not a religious organization. The kingdom of heaven is made up of simple people. There are people who are full of doctrines and concepts in their thoughts that make them complicated and irreducible. Therefore, if we are not converted like a child, we will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Let us humble ourselves and repent of our troubles. Repent of living by our ability, our own knowledge and experience. The time has come to be like a child before the Lord. (Isa 66:2, KJU; Mt 5:3; 18:3)
