1. The word is Christ, and the word was with God from the beginning, the Son is the communication of God. The Lord’s work is accomplished when man believes in the One sent by Him, who is the Word itself. Today, when we believe in the word, God’s work is done in us and through us. Whoever believes in the word gains eternal life, and Christ becomes His food. (John 1:1,14; John 6:28-29, 38, 47-48, 63)
2. After some time in the church, we gain experience and find ourselves able to give advice, speak messages, take care of couples, hold meetings, and we end up losing simplicity. We need to learn from the Son, who claims that He can do nothing of Himself. We depend on the word of the Lord! (John 14:10; John 5:19)
3. Daily Food, Book 2, Week 1, Thursday, p. 16: “Let us be simple, let us listen to the living word of the Lord, accepting it with simplicity as, in truth, it is the word of God. When immersing yourself in the word, realize that it itself does the work of God and power comes out of it to save people on the streets.
