1. The Seven Spirits refer to the Spirit being used in His fullness, that is, in His full strength. He is infinite! Today we are experiencing a little bit of that! Do not use your ability, biblical knowledge or eloquence, or your wonderful talents. Trust the power of the Spirit.
2. These Seven Spirits are like seven lamps of fire that burn before the throne of God. They are ready to travel throughout the earth; they were just waiting for the right moment. Now, the right moment has come: the moment (the beginning) of dawn (morning)!
3. In the decline of the church, man took over the government of the church. It is time to let the Lord take His place as the Head. New covenant ministers place their complete trust in God. You cannot trust in man or in human government. Our trust can only be placed in God. That is the church in Philadelphia, which has little strength.
4. “Let us not create factions in the church, that is, dividing ourselves into groups of those who agree or disagree with certain practices. Creating factions this way and seeking supporters are pure vanity and result in nothing. On the contrary, we must do everything with humility (Phil 2:3b)”.
