1. Jesus Christ is the treasure we have access to through the revelation of the Word. The prophetic word comes from the revelation of Jesus Christ and brings the treasure to all of us through His channel, which serves merely as a messenger. We must all learn to convey God’s message to all the members of the Body of Christ. Thus, Christ governs His church, and it prospers and advances.
2. We need to preserve two things: the revelation of the word and the fire of the gospel. The moment the church no longer has the revelation of the Word, it stops and becomes a mere dead religion. We are the living Body of Christ. The church cannot be a church within four walls but must go out into the street to preach the gospel. If we have the vigor to preach the gospel, we will remain until the coming of the Lord.
3. “This whole process results in experiencing and doing God’s will: to go out into the streets to preach the gospel, rescue people, bring them in for care, and build up the church. God wants us to be part of the army that fights for the kingdom. We come to really understand what God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will is. That is why we need to love the word. If all the members of the Body practice this, we will be one great fabric of love, woven together in love. This is the edification of the church!
