1. Satan was an archangel created by God who was proud and wanted to place himself ever closer to God, in order to be a deputy king to God in the affairs of the creature, because he thought that God, as creator, needed an interlocutor between Him and creation. However, God had already chosen His own son, Jesus, to be that connection.
2. Jesus left His position of God, humbled Himself to a servile human figure and was obedient to death, death on a cross. God exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name.
3. Satan hates and envies Jesus and wants all mankind to sever ties with God and His anointed. He who dwells in heaven, however, is greater than Satan, and Jesus Christ was begotten not only the son of God, but also the son of man. He is the perfect connection between God and creation, and was chosen to rule the earth with a rod of iron.
4. “Christ is the first in creation, the first in the new creation, the point of connection between man and God, the point of connection of all creation. … May the Lord deliver us from anything that would replace Christ in our lives and experiences!”.
