1.Jesus’ teaching was not His, it came from God’s revelation. Beautiful teachings come from men, but what comes from God produces edification. Jesus is a model of a man who sanctified the Father’s name on earth; Today, the sphere where this happens is in the church, in the Body of Christ. we need to be cleansed and purified, so that God finds no resistance, in doing His will, through the church.
2. Mere teachings, without wisdom from above, do not result in the edification of the church. The natural man cannot understand spiritual things. Christ died, rose again and returned as the Spirit of reality, entering those who believe in Him and generating the church. Christ, like the ladder, connects the earth with the heavens. We see from above, what the natural man cannot see.
3. The people of Israel in the wilderness, represent our natural man, who speaks against God and against the one who speaks for Him. Every crisis originates from the people of God living in the sphere of the earth, without being able to understand what God is doing in heavens. Therefore, they complained about God and their leader Moses.
4. In his natural freedom, man makes his choices. On the heavenly plane, choices are in God’s hands, it is up to us to listen to His speaking. Therefore, we cannot exalt man, having a preference for one preacher or another; God is the one who does His work.
