1. God chose Jesus to be the one who understands man. God chose Jesus and speaks for Him. God chose Jesus and appointed Him as heir of all things.
2. Which path do we want to choose? That of fighting for position in the church and using our own ability to give beautiful messages and gain followers? Or do we want the way of Jesus, who said He can do nothing by Himself? When a man thinks he is very capable, there is something wrong.
3. From the beginning, Satan dominates through greed for power. He aspired to exalt himself and elevate his throne. In the fall, every man received this sinful nature from the devil; including the love for the position. Therefore, we are all still tempted by ambition, position, power and money. This is how Satan controls the world. Let us be careful, as he uses the same method in the church. Let us follow the path of Jesus!
4. After the age of the apostles, there was no one who brought the living word that the Spirit speaks to the churches, and without the word, the church began to decline. In an attempt to contain the decline, man began to organize himself in the church, and thus the government of the bishops, the episcopate, was strengthened. Without the direction brought by the apostles, human teachings and love for the office started to appear.
