1. A prophet who speaks in the name of God cannot speak his own words, but the words that the Lord commands him. Today, God uses a man as a channel to transmit His speaking. The transmission of the word is from God.
2. The prophetic word is what God speaks, through the prophets. And God continues speaking to us today!
3. God speaks to the church through His channel and his speaking is the very word of God. God uses a channel in each age to speak His word. The word works effectively in whoever believes in it.
4. “Jesus is the living Word that came down from heaven. When He spoke the word, it carried out the work of God. The word has a very special place in God’s work and John’s writings show us this”.
