1. The word is Christ Himself. Scripture without Christ is a dead letter. You will only find life in the word if there Christ is found in it, for Christ is eternal life.
2. Eternal life is not just remaining in the earthly dimension forever; eternal life is being in the sphere of God. Our desire is to be in the dimension where God is.
3. God’s work is to believe in the one sent by God. What does it mean to believe in the one sent by God? It is believing in the Word, because the one sent does not speak his own words, he speaks the words of God.
4. “Every minute is precious to fulfill the Father’s desire. Let us use our time wisely. Instead of spending it worrying about the cares of this life, let us take advantage of every opportunity to be led by Christ, obeying His word.
