1. In the multiplication of the loaves, we can see what God desires for His people. God placed man on earth to multiply. The boy’s five loaves represent plant life, which has multiplied. Today God wants His life to multiply through us. (John 6:1-14; 12:24)
2. The seed sown is the word of the kingdom. The word that God is speaking to us will produce His kingdom. The earth that receives the seed is the heart of man. A fertile, clean, and believing heart is the condition for the word to bear fruit and grow. God wants man to multiply this seed and fill the earth, which is the heart of men. (Mt 13:3- 11, 18-19, 23 )
3. We need to go where the people are. The Lord wants men’s hearts! He wants you to preach the gospel and sow the word of the kingdom in the hearts of men. (Mt 24:14; 13:3-11, 18-19, 23 )
4. When the word comes to you, it not only communicates the idea of God, but it communicates Christ Himself to you. (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 4, Friday, p. 66)
