1. The Lord wants you to offer what is already yours. He wants you as an offering, as building material for the tabernacle. (Exod. 25:1-7; Rom. 12:1-2)
2. After the departure of the people of Israel from Egypt, God finally had a people who were His; and through the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness, God would have a dwelling place among these people.(Exod. 19:4-6, 25:8)
3. In the New Testament, God’s dwelling place is the church, it is not a temple or a religious institution. The church is God’s dwelling place with His people. (Exod. 19:4-6, 25:8; Eph. 2:19-22)
4. The prophetic word must circulate among all members of the Body of Christ to promote the growth of brothers and the edification of the church. (Daily Food, Book 2, week 2, Monday, page 24)
