1. The house of God must be within the sphere of God’s dominion (Neh 1:2-3; Eph 1:22; Col 1:18).
2. Considering the history of the church, we can say that the Babylonian captivity took place during the period of the church in Thyatira. The church became ruins, as it did not have the government and the word of God, everything was abomination and spiritual prostitution (Rev 2:20; Rev 17:3-6).
3. The restoration of truths in the period of the church in Sardis, such as justification by faith, divinity, and the Triune God, is equivalent to the restoration of the temple in the time of Zerubbabel. But something was still missing. Even in this period, with the Bible in hand, after the restoration of so many truths, we still do not see a church under the government of God (Rev 3:1).
4. Those of Zion, the overcomers, are those who do not trust in their own strength, eloquence, or ability. On the contrary, they depend completely on the word and recognize that it is what does God’s work. The overcomers are those who are immersing themselves in the word day and night. (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 2, Wednesday, page 46).
