DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 16 – I Am the Vine and You Are the Branches

The word of God, like water, supplies and guides us; but it also cleanses us of the old man and our natural capacity. This is why immersion in the word is so important, as it is the process that God uses to make the church holy and without blemish (Eph 5:25-26).
We, as branches, must abide in the Lord, the vine, and He will abide in us through the flowing sap. We must understand that only God is capable of carrying out His work, through the flow of His word and His Spirit (Eph 15:4-5).
We are not even capable of thinking for ourselves; rather, our sufficiency comes from God. The origin of God’s work must come from Him. He is the One who shows us the way (2 Cor 3:4-6).
It is God who does the work, through the word that He commands His sent one (Nm 16:28) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 2, Friday, p. 33).
