DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Thursday | Mess. 04 – The Evidence of Degradation at the End of the First Century

Christ gave Himself for the church to sanctify it. We are no longer in the world, but in His house. However, we still need transformation through the washing of water by the Word that removes all impurities from our soul (Eph 2:25-27).
Just as we need the food digested by the digestive system and the oxygen assimilated by the lungs, as living members of the church, we need Christ as the bread of life and the Spirit as the breath of life (John 6:35, 51; 63).
How important the Word is! We practice “May I pray for you?”, we pray the word of immersion, we fill ourselves with the Spirit by speaking the Word among ourselves, through it, we are sanctified, filled with the Spirit, and we will be presented to Christ as a glorious, holy and blameless church with no defect (Eph 5:18, 27).
How much power there is in the word! God is capable of doing much more, and it is up to us, humbly, to hear and keep His word, allowing it to operate powerfully in our lives (1 Cor 1:18) (Daily Food, book 2, week 2, Thursday, p. 31).
