- Because the members are governed in life, all church services operate in love. Without love, we will return to a lifeless government, where the stimulus is salary, fame, recognition and popularity (Eph 3:17; Col 3:16).
- What is the church life? I do not know how to define it, but I know it is glorious, impressive and absorbing. Today we are impressed by what the Lord is doing in the church life by raising up missionaries, freeing people from addictions, restoring marriages. Every day we have testimonies of miracles. The church life (the living of the church) must captivate us completely. Does is still have defects and problems? Yes, but it is glorious, impressive and captivating! Glory to God! (Eph 5:25-27).
- God cares for the church. He does not tolerate your loving the church life and along with other things. He demands that we give the church all our love and dedication. The living of the church claims all of our living. The church is more precious and appealing than gold and silver. That is why, brothers and sisters, it is not worth wasting time chasing the things of the world (John 2:17; Ps 69:9; Luke 10:27; Mt 6:24).
