- The Lord has led us in a very organic way, leading everyone not to trust in themselves, but in the power of life that is in the Word and the Spirit. We must live a life of taking up the cross, learning to deny our soul life (Mt 16:24-26; John 6:63).
- As men we are nothing, but the Lord has given us much importance, leading us to inherit the world to come. Jesus was crowned with glory and honor; all things are already subject to Him, and today He is perfecting us, so that things will also be subject to us when we are headed up by Christ. Thus, we will be able to reign in the world to come (Heb 2:5-10).
- The great legacy we received from Brother Dong Yu Lan’s ministry was the organic way in which he led the Lord’s work; he did not follow conventional or traditional patterns, but rather made innovations under the direction of the Spirit, always seeking practical results to advance the Lord’s work (John 3:8; Rom 7:6; 2 Cor 3:6).
- We are the Lord’s arm on earth because we believe that it is He who does the work through us. We obey the commandment, the order that God gives, fulfilling it and practicing it, and He will take us to eternity (John 13:17) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 1, Sunday, page 20).
