- Whoever fights for the kingdom must have perseverance, as opposition, tribulations, and persecution will come. We need to persevere and continue preaching the gospel of the kingdom. The word that the church in Philadelphia receives is the word of His perseverance, which will bring the kingdom of God to the earth (Rev. 3:10; 1:9).
- Those who truly love the coming of the Lord Jesus hurry to do God’s will and do not waste time fighting for their own interests, nor for position in the church, as this delays His coming. Do you love the coming of the Lord? (2 Tim 4:8).
- “He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches”. How important it is to have sensitive ears to hear the word of the Lord in each season and at each moment. This is the secret of an overcomer! (Rev 3:13; 19:5).
- The path that must be followed is one in which the Spirit grants peace. Wonderful! We do not need to be disoriented or afraid, for outwardly we have the word that gives us direction and inwardly we have the Spirit, which gives us the anointing (Mt 9:35-36; 1 John 2:27) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 3, Sunday, p. 54).
