- Along with divine life, we receive the nature and essence of God, which is love. God is love! God, first, generates in us the love for Him, because He begot us. If we love God, we love His voice of command, His word. Every time we believe in the word of God by faith, it enters us with the power of life and makes us love our brothers and sisters. By loving God, we close our eyes to the faults of our brothers and sisters. That is why “love is blind” (1 John 5:1-5; John 1:12-13; Eph 1:19).
- The Spirit, the water, and the blood are the testimony that God gives on earth about His Son, and they are unanimous in one purpose. When we believe in Jesus, we receive the blood for our redemption; the water, which is the Spirit, has entered into us to flow like rivers of living water. The Spirit we have received always gives us life and infuses us with the essence of God, which is love (1 John 5:6-12; John 19:34-36; 7:37-39; 14:16-17; 4:14; 1 Corinthians 15:45).
- If I live in the fellowship of life, the divine being within me is strengthened, I and God are one, and He uses me to give life to the brother for whom I am praying. This is the circulation of life! On the other hand, if I practice rebellion against God and against the authority established by Him, it is a sin unto death. So let us always be alert, under the light of the Lord, to see any hint of sin and unrighteousness that may arise in us, and let us keep our hearts pure, without any desire to have preeminence in the church (1 John 5:13-17; 1 Corinthians 6:17; 10:5-12; Jas 5:13-16; Rom 16:27; 2 Thes 3:14; Num 12:1- 11; 16:26-33).
- Even though the spiritual atmosphere is very dense around us, we need not be afraid of the devil, for the evil one does not touch the part that is born of God in our regenerated spirit. Let us be confident that we will win every battle and bring the Lord back. So let us always remain humble, simple, and pure in the fellowship of life, to accomplish God’s will in the church (1 John 5:18-21).
