DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Mess. 14 – The End of Our Faith: The Salvation of Our Soul

  1. Growth and maturity in life requires the sufferings of the present time in order to attain the glory that will be revealed in us at the second coming of Christ. When we reach full sonship, the redemption of our body, it will be clothed with incorruptibility (Rom 8:18; 1 Cor 15:53-54).
  2. When the church completes sanctification in the truth through the word, the glory imparted to us will make us one, as the Father and the Son are one. We will be fully incorporated into God and His love. God’s love is the element that unites us perfectly. Just as the Father and the Son are one, so we are being inseparably joined together (John 17:17-26).
  3. Peter was a rough stone: rash, impulsive, and acting on his own strength. He realized that he needed to be transformed through trials. The Lord wants to make us pure as refined gold, which is of great value. The purer our faith, the greater its value. Sufferings are necessary to test, purify, and elevate the value and purity of our faith (1 Pet. 1:5-7).
  4. “The Lord made a point of allowing Peter to deny Him three times in order to make it very clear that the natural man is not trustworthy (…). It was a difficult experience for Peter, but thank God, the Lord did not give up on him, just as He does not give up on us” (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 1, Saturday, pp. 19/20).
