- We can walk in the same steps as the Lord because we have the same life that enabled Him to undergo such suffering for us. Just like Jesus, we should learn not to retaliate against our aggressors because we have God who judges righteously (1Thes 5:15).
- Right before being martyred, Paul was abandoned by all those in Asia. Even so, he knew that he had completed his ministry and was just trusting in the Lord. Our attitude is to be faithful to the Lord in our service, in spite of the way we are treated by the brothers and sisters (1Pet 2:11-24).
- God created man to receive His life in order to care for them through the governance of that life. The only thing the world has to offer man is the lust of the flesh, which is nothing more than vanity and weariness (Ecc. 1-14).
- “While He was on Earth […], Jesus never claimed to be the author of the signs He performed and the word He spoke. He always” said that “God spoke through Him […]. The secret is the origin of the word. […] “If the origin of the word is not the true God, the truth will not reach us” (Daily Food, Volume 6, Week 4, Saturday, page 71).
