DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Tuesday | Mess. 22 – Partakers of the Divine Nature

  1. In 2 Peter 1:1, the apostle speaks to those who have obtained “like precious faith.” God is righteous; He cannot be partial, giving the best to one and the worst to another. It does not say that each will receive the same amount, but the word assures that it is of equal value (2 Pet. 1:1).

  1. The apostle Paul talks about “speaking to one another”, teaching, admonishing. When we take the content of a message, such as the immersion pamphlet, and speak to one another, teaching, admonishing, we learn more and engrave that word on our hearts (Deut. 6:6; Col. 3:16).

  1. The verb inculcate is transitive, it passes between two people. There is no way to practice it alone. We need to speak, admonish, and teach one another. In this way, the word is inculcated, engraved, in our hearts. It is important to labor on the word. The land is equally precious, it produces the same thing. But the fruit depends on who labors. Let’s work! (Dt 6:6-7; Col 3:16).

  1. God did not create us as powerful beings, but He created us with a human spirit adequate to receive Him. With the human spirit, man is able to receive the eternal God Himself into him. God is the able and powerful One; not man. We do not need to be powerful; we need to be in constant contact with the Almighty One. That is our function, our role (2 Cor. 4:7; 3:5-6, 18). (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 3, Tuesday, pp. 43-44).
