- Today we have brothers and sisters in Africa, Europe, Central America, Panama, Korea, Japan and in several other countries. Despite living in such different cultures, the same life circulates among everyone, and we happily practice the same things. We are governed by life. There is no man capable of governing this. God is producing a government in church life (1 John 1:1-3; Eph 2:19-22).
- Mere beautiful words of human wisdom or persuasion do not produce God’s work in faith. Faith is based on the word of God. The apostle Paul served for a few years in Asia, but in the end, he was abandoned by people who did not care about the brothers and sisters, but were only interested in increasing their number of followers (Rom 10:17; 1 Tim 1:3-4; Acts 20:29-30; 2 Tim 1:15).
- The word is the truth. Today we walk in truth by the word we receive. We must not receive the word of life as law, but deposit it in our hearts. This is the path that makes us walk in truth (Dt 6:5-9; 2 Jn 1-4; Jn 17:17-19; Eph 3:17, 5:25-26; Col 3:16).
- In God’s work, nothing originates from man. If anything comes from us, whether in programming, planning or organizing some item of the Lord’s work, the effort will fail. The starting point is God because He has to be the origin of the work! The Lord, through the word, shows us the way to follow (2 Cor 4:7). (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 4, Friday, page 66).
