DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 03 – The Difficulties faced by the apostles

Just as the blood removes toxins from our human body, the Word of God is doing this work in us: washing us and removing all the toxins of the old man, the old creation, ambition, and vying for position (Eph 5: 26-27).
The Lord wants to present a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and without blemish. To do this, He wants to take away from us every concept of position, dispute, popularity or fame, and fill us with His life to be the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Eph 1:22-23; 5: 26-27).
There is only one commanding voice. The Lord speaks and we have fellowship based on what He spoke. This fellowship does not aim to become speakers of good messages, but executors of orders, because the word of God is always an order (Acts 2:42).
Christ is able to unite all the parts into a whole. For this to happen, He needs to be head over all things. What unites, in fact, is the love of God. God’s love is what, in fact, unites all the elements – divine and human – making up the new creation. (Col 1:16-17; 3:14) (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 1, Friday, p. 19).
