DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 06 – The Church’s Degradation Over the Centuries

Careful! When the Church fails to follow the teaching of the apostles, it opens its doors to ravenous wolves, who will not spare the flock (Acts 20:29).
What do you choose? Useless, profane and deadly talk or the prophetic word, which is the gospel of Christ? Follow closely and never abandon the prophetic word. Choosing another path will bring you irreversible damage (Deut 11:26-29; 1 Tim 1:3-4; Gal 1:6; 4:16-17 (KJU); 2 Tim 3:10).
The enemy of God will always use different tactics to destroy the Church. From persecution to trying to join it, like in a marriage. But the Church cannot unite with the world or be corrupted by secular power, for it is a pure virgin espoused to Christ. The Church is in the world but does not belong to it (Matt 13:31-32; Rev 2:14; John 17:14-15; James 4:4; Matt 6:24).
“Thanks be to God for the word that allows us to discern the voice that speaks to us. Through it, we identify the voice of the Lord and free ourselves from falling into the trap of thieves and robbers, who approach the sheep seeking only their own benefit (John 10:7-8)” (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 4, Friday, p. 66).
