DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 07 – The Worsening of the Degradation and the Reformation

The leaders of the churches in the time of Revelation are not the most capable, nor those who sought the lead and gained power, but they were the faithful messengers and able to transmit the word they received to other equally faithful and able men (Rev 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14).
Messengers faithfully transmit the Word that the Spirit says to the churches: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches”. We are these messengers today! (Rev 1:20; 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22; 2 Tim 2:2).
It is not by our human message or ability that God’s work is accomplished, but by the word of the Spirit, from which God’s government in our lives also comes. (Gen 1:3; Heb 1:1-3; Pr 29:18).
Regarding the coming of Christ, Isaiah prophesied: “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulders; And His name will be: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace; Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, Upon the Throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward and forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this”. (Is 9:6-7) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 1, Friday, p. 17).
