- Our destiny is to be heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. We will be brought into the glory of God and receive His inheritance. This will only be possible if the divine being within us grows to maturity. This is full sonship. Not only our spirit but also our soul will be saved. When the Lord returns, He will transfigure our bodies into an immortal body. Our entire being will be filled with glory (Rom. 8:17-18, 29-30; 1 Cor. 15:52).
- Christ has been established as King on Mount Zion to inherit the nations and reign over them. God has appointed Him heir of all things. And those who reach maturity will be sons, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. The overcomers will reign with Christ in the millennium, the manifestation of the kingdom of heavens (Ps. 2:6-9; Heb. 1:2; Rom. 8:17; Rev. 20:6).
- The salvation of our souls is a lifelong process. It aims at transformation through the renewing of our minds and sanctification in the truth through the washing of water by the word. Through the fellowship of life through the circulation of the apostles’ teaching; by speaking, teaching, and admonishing one another, we promote this process (Rom 8:23; 12:2; Eph 5:18-19, 26; Col 3:16; John 17:17; Acts 2:42; 1 John 1:3).
- Jesus, at His last Passover supper, foretold His disciples that He would be slain as the Passover Lamb of that year. (…) Jesus was examined by the high priest and the Roman governor, and no defect was found in Him, that the Scriptures might be fulfilled (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 1, Friday, p. 17).
