DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 15 – I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life

It is only possible for us to do greater works than those of Jesus, because the One who does them is the Father Himself! He will continue to do the works until the end of time, by His Word. He can use us, however, it is not us who does the work, but He through us (John 14:12; 17:4).
When we do God’s will, we are so united with the Father that our request corresponds to the Lord’s will, that is, we ask according to what He wants to do. He is just waiting for a command here on earth. When we ask, He does (John 14:13-15)!
Let us not worry, we have a Comforter! The word “comforter” means “someone who is always by our side to defend us”. We have someone who defends our cause, cares and fights for us. The Comforter is not a stranger, but is within us, as the Spirit of truth, filling us with reality itself until the fullness of God (John 14:16-17).
The living water that the Lord offers us is every good gift that comes down to us from heaven: the Lord Jesus Himself, through His word, fully satisfies us and also becomes in us a fountain springing up to eternal life (John 4: 5 -14; 3:31-36) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 1, Friday, p. 18)
