- God receives nothing that comes from flesh. The church must carry out the word of the Lord. We must not conduct ourselves according to our own natural opinions and personal impetus, but rather carry out the word of God (1 Sam 15:1-11).
- Servants should be submissive to their masters. In order to cooperate in the establishment of the kingdom of God on Earth, we must fully obey His word! We should remain in our place of submission because the Lord is the One who will deliver us.
- Jesus emptied and humble Himself by becoming a man and in everything obeyed the Father, even to death on the cross. That is the position we must maintain. We are servants one of another and servants of the people on the streets because they need to receive the gospel. A servant does not work to receive recognition; servants only know how to serve their master (Phil 2:5-8).
- “The Lord reveals the true mission of the church: to be the extension of Jesus, with the same spirit and focus on doing God’s will caring for the Lord’s flock. He knows that in us there is a struggle between the concern for our livelihood and the work of doing God’s will” (Daily Food, Volume 6, Week 4, Friday, page 67).
