DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Friday | Mess. 18 – The Spirit of Truth Will Guide Us into All Truth

Jesus had told His disciples that He would be crucified, and they were saddened and perplexed by this news, for they did not know what they would do after His departure. However, Jesus needed to die on the cross, execute redemption and return as the Comforter, to dwell within us, those who believe in Him (John 16:4-5).
Today, in Christ Jesus our Comforter, not only do we have full joy and direction in our Christian journey, but we are also becoming even closer to Him: we have gone from servants to friends, and from friends to brothers (John 14:16-18; 15:11-15; 20:16-17).
After the resurrection, Jesus appeared to the disciples and breathed into them the Holy Spirit! Beloved saints, Jesus breathed Himself into you. So don’t be afraid! He is the one who sent us into the streets to preach the gospel of the kingdom. Peace be with you! (John 20:19-23)
We are encouraged to go to the streets and preach the gospel of the kingdom, rescuing people from the empire of darkness, because God has given us all the authority to do so (Mark 16:15-16). Our commission is not only to lead people to believe, but also to be baptized and introduced into the Body of Christ (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 4, Friday, page 67).
