- The Word of life is a Person, Christ. He is the very eternal life that was with the Father and was manifested to man. This Word was announced by the apostle John, and those who received It by faith were introduced into the fellowship of life, the fellowship of the Body of Christ. This is the importance of the Word (1 John 1:1-2).
- God created the heavens and the earth magnificently to establish His government in life. Satan, however, rebelled and ruined the earth. However God “turned the page”! Wherever the Spirit of God hovers, there is life! Through the power of His Word, God wants to bring life again to a planet full of death. (Gen. 1; Prov. 8:22-34; Job 38; Ez. 28:12-19; Isa. 14:12-15 John 8:44).
- We were created a little smaller than the angels. But God gave us something special, which angels do not have: the human spirit, a “vessel” to receive God within oneself. So, we are not capable; the Only One capable is God, who is the Treasure in us! Let us not trust in the vessel, that is, in our natural capacity, but in the powerful God who is within us! (Heb. 2:5-8; 2 Cor. 4:7).
- Man was created in a special way, with the ability to receive, through the word, the life of God; and, to receive divine life, it is necessary to welcome His messenger: Jesus (Gen. 2:7; 2 Cor. 4:7). (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 4, Monday, page 56).
