- Before we know where we are and where we are going, we need to know why we exist. We exist because of God and through Him, who created us. Therefore, our life does not make any sense if it is not to live for God. We exist through Him and for Him. (Heb 2:10 KJU; John 1:3; Col 1:16).
- God’s will is to cause all things He created, both in heaven and on Earth, to be headed up by Christ. To do this, He relies on the church. When God raised Jesus from the dead and ascended to the heavenly places, everything was placed under His feet. Moreover, for God to be head over all things, He gave Christ to the church in order to fill it with truth and holiness to accomplish His will (Eph 1:9-10; 18-23).
- God’s filling us is not merely an individual work, but a collective one. By filling us with His word, God causes Christ to dwell in our hearts. Thus, He begins to subjectively lead our mind, emotion and will. Therefore, we practice immersion in the Word and transcribe it. The Word, which is Christ, is entering us and living in our hearts, and thus is transforming our lives (Eph 3:17).
- “…At the end of time, God chose a little flock, the church in Philadelphia, which has little strength, but loves the word of the Lord and does not deny His name. In other words, Philadelphia does not trust in human ability, but rather trusts in the Lord and the power of God’s word to accomplish His work”. (Luke 12:32; Rev. 3:8) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 2, Monday, page 21).
