DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Mess. 08 – The Return to the Church of the Apostolic Age

Our God is the Holy and True One. He is unique and totally distinct, and there is no other besides Him (Rev 3:7). Therefore, He wants to lead the church back to the holiness that He had designed for it from the beginning (1 Peter 2:9).
The enemy realized that God’s work is accomplished by the word entrusted to His apostles and prophets raised up in each age. Therefore, he fired his first shot at the prophetic word. Degradation began, and God’s people were left without direction. However, those who obey His Word are happy, because by it they receive direction and are governed (Prov 29:18).
The second shot fired by the enemy was the establishment of a hierarchy in the church; one group considered itself superior to the others and thus destroyed the function of members in the Body of Christ (Rev 2:15). The third shot is related to the idolatry of riches (Mammon); the clergy began to receive a salary and they became dominated by Mammon (Mt 6:24). The Lord wants to bring the church back to the original state He had designed.
The Lord wants to show us that He has control over all things and, no matter how difficult they may seem, He is capable of resolving any situation and transforming it into something living, because He is the I AM (John 8:24; 11:25 ) (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 2, Monday, page 24).
