- It is wonderful to have fellowship with the word of the apostles’ teaching along with our brothers and sisters. We need the church, the brothers and sisters, the fellowship, to speak the word to each other so that the divine light illuminates us, and we have the revelation and complete understanding of the word of God (Acts 2:42; Eph 5:18-21).
- Jesus taught us that we need to become like children to enter the kingdom of heaven because, unlike us adults, and because of their young age, children have received much less influence from the system of this world ruled by Satan. Children are simple and pure. By the life of God, we can become simple and pure! (Mt 18:1-5; 2 Co 11:2-3; 1 Jo 5:19).
- Everything that is not governed by the life of God needs human organization, with its power structure and reward system, where higher positions are achieved. This is the world we live in. But Jesus prayed to the Father not to take us out of this world but to free us from the evil that is in it. For we are here to preach the gospel of the kingdom in order to free people from the influence of the worldly system. Have you prayed for someone today? (John 17:14-15; Mt 24:14).
- God does not want to establish a religion or provide a manual of Christian conduct to improve our behavior. What transforms man and fulfills God’s will is the eternal life, which everyone needs to receive (Eph 2:1) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 3, Monday, page 39).
