DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Monday | Mess. 17 – I Appointed You to Bear Fruit

The Lord wants to move fast. He came to earth with the sole purpose of doing the Father’s will. That was His focus. He did not come to do His own work nor seek popularity and glory for Himself. Today, God needs this same type of determination in the church, for it is the continuation of Jesus Christ (Matt. 12:46-50).
Jesus did the work of redemption, which no man could do to fulfill the Father’s will. His death redeemed us from our sins and, when He was resurrected, He became the Spirit of Truth who entered our spirit as the inner anointing, teaching us about all things. We have His Word that gives us direction and His Spirit within us (John 6:63; 1 John 2:27).
We must be focused on doing God’s will, which is to make Christ the king, the head over all things. For this, God gave Christ to the church, which is His Body. He needs a group of people determined to do His will, who do not seek their interest, glory or ambition. Let us take care of our heart, so that it is pure, and only do the will of the Father according to our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:9-10; 22-23; Matt. 7:21-23).
“The power of the word does not come from teachings, but mainly from the testimony of what the word has done. Therefore, it is essential to have living experiences with the word, just like the Samaritan woman. This way, when we speak to people, the word will come out full of power and they will believe (John 4:41)” – (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 3, Monday, page 41).
