- When we walk in the truth, which is the word of God, we receive His nature and begin to walk in love. Our standard is brotherly love, the love of the church in Philadelphia (2 John 5-6; Rev 3:7-13).
- By believing in the Word, we receive eternal life. Therefore, we need to fight for everyone to follow the word closely. All who fail to follow the word closely, at one time or another, will fall away (John 17:3; 1 Tim 1:3-4; Acts 20:29-30; 2 Tim 1:15).
- Those who decide to follow the word closely and dedicate themselves to the work have their vision changed. Even though they work, they set aside time to serve. The Lord then takes care of them and gives them even more prosperity. Let’s live for the Lord. We all need to work and God will supply us (Mt 6:33).
- God’s love has brought us together, and the result of love is joy. The problems end, and the brothers and sisters are increasingly happy living in the church: “I have spoken these words to you so that my joy may remain in you and your happiness may be complete” (John 15:11, KJA) (Daily Food, Book 4, Week 4, Saturday, p. 69).
