- Christ is the power and wisdom of God. Wisdom is for planning, designing. Our Lord Jesus is the architect of God who planned everything according to His good pleasure, which is God’s desire. Power is to execute. God performs His work by the power that is in the Word. (1 Cor 1:24; Pr 8:12, 22-23, 30).
- The entire process that Jesus went through was planned with wisdom and by Wisdom in order to free man from his sins and rescue him back to God. Finally, we will be His kingdom and priests and Christ will be head over all things through the church. (Eph 1:7; Hb 9:12; Eph 1:19-22).
- Christ uses the power of the Word to carry out God’s will through the church. For nineteen centuries many words have competed with the Word of God, but the Lord does not give up restoring appreciation for the Word of life until He obtains the church in Philadelphia and concludes this age (Rev 3:10-11).
- The Lord needs the cooperation of the church to complete His work, He needs people who want to be His friends, His coworkers (John 15:15). (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 1, Saturday, page 21).
