DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Mess. 06 – The Church’s Degradation Over the Centuries

Idolatry and covetousness are the door to fornication. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him, for the world opposes the Father (Col 3:5; Matt 6:24; James 4:4; 1 Tim 6:10).
We do not serve the Lord for payments, but out of faithfulness and love for Him (Phil 4:10-19; 1 Cor 9:3-23).
Those who preach the gospel, live by the gospel! Colporteurs do not do colportage for money. If they do it with this objective, it doesn’t flow. They are not hired by anyone, but God Himself feeds them with the fruits of preaching the gospel (Phil 4:10-19; 1 Cor 9:3- 23).
Walking in the Spirit enables us to eliminate from our lives the works of the flesh mentioned in Galatians: “Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like (Gal 5:19-21)” (Daily Food, Book 2, Week 4, Saturday, p. 69).
