DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Saturday | Mess. 08 – The Return to the Church of the Apostolic Age

In 1827, in Dublin (Ireland), the study of the word of God caused them to gather together only in the name of the Lord Jesus without denominations so as to maintain the unity of the Spirit (Eph 4:3). Despite the attacks they suffered, they continued to meet according to the vision that Christ died, rose again and sent the Spirit to lead them into all reality (John 16:7-14).
Unfortunately, between 1845 and 1848, the brothers were divided in England due to disagreements over the breaking of the bread, to heresies and to the abandoning of the vision of church oneness. They lacked the vision of the Word of God coming from the channel chosen by Him to receive revelation and transmit it as the voice of command (Rev 1:1-2).
The church in Philadelphia must take firm steps in the path of being the church of Christ. To do this, it is necessary to restore the line of first love for the teaching of the apostles, of simplicity and of obedience. In the church there is a channel of God that speaks the word, and the other biblical teachings must converge to have fellowship in the prophetic word (Acts 2:42).
Let us be simple and activate the power of God by believing that the word we hear comes from Him (1 Thess 2:13). (Daily Food, Book 3, Week 2, Saturday, p. 36)
