- If husband and wife seek to be heirs of the same grace of life, the Lord is present in marriage. The three-fold cord is not easily broken. Let us help our spouses to immerse themselves, serve the Lord, do “Come and See” with teenagers, do colporting, care for people, and family groups. By being involved in the word of the Lord all day long, one will help the other to follow the path in a harmonious and victorious way (Eccl 4:11-12).
- Husband and wife are heirs of the same grace of life. The growth of divine life in us will make us mature children, fit to receive the incorruptible, undefiled and unfading inheritance reserved in heaven. The inheritance is the complete salvation that makes us heirs of God. All that is God’s will be ours as well (1 Pet. 1:3-4; Rom. 8:17).
- The Lord’s return is very near. Therefore, married people should take advantage of this opportunity to unite and live a harmonious life of consideration and honor for one another. They should live in the circulation of the word, serving the Lord and seeking to be overcomers. Thus, when the Lord returns, they will reign with Him for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4).
- We cannot let the feeling that keeps the flame of love for the Lord burning fade away from us, and this can easily happen if we lose the reverent love for the word, for it is the source of supply of that love, which must be cultivated (He who has an ear, let him hear. Sardis Lessons in Revelation, the background, p. 35).
