- If we say that we know the Lord by the circulation of His life among us, but we still have problems with loving each other, we do not really know Him. God’s love is manifested in those who truly keep His word, those who live in fellowship with God and with their brothers and sisters (1 John 1:7-10; 2:3-6; 4:7-12).
- We are here not to do our own will. The church must be determined to do God’s will, believing in the word and putting it into practice to carry out His work, and not by its own ability (Is 53:10; John 6:38- 40; 5:19; 14:10).
- God’s commandment is that we love one another. The practice of love dispels darkness and makes true light shine. The fellowship of life produces love among brothers and sisters and makes them live in the light, because God is light. And whoever lives in the light cannot hate his brother and sister (John 13:34-35; 1 John 3:11-12).
- The oneness of the Father with the Son is not a oneness that man can manufacture. The Father in the Son and the Son in the Father is a oneness that is achieved only through the love of God. By loving us and introducing us to this reality, God inserts us into His glory. In this way, we will be inserted in Him forever and ever. This is our destiny! Hallelujah! (John 17:21-23) (Daily Food, Book 5, Week 3, Sunday, p. 55).
