- We need to be aware that we have been bought by the precious blood of Christ. That is why we cannot give up being Christians, because we have been rescued from a vain way of living, from the empty, futile, and meaningless life that was handed down to us (1 Peter 1:17-19).
- The holy life lived here on earth is for the church life, so that God can produce love. This is God’s ultimate goal: to build up the Body of Christ in love (Gal. 5:22; Eph. 4:15; 5:25).
- Living by the prophetic word that comes from the mouth of God gives us an expression of life that causes us to love one another ardently. The goal of the salvation of the soul is to produce brotherly love (1 Pet 1:22-25).
- We are here as an extension of Christ, and we must make God’s will prosper. We no longer have time to live for ourselves, nor should we have ambitions, aiming for some work or personal interests. Let us give ourselves completely to the Lord! (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 2, Sunday, p. 38).
