- Christ is the tried and tested stone, reliable for God’s building, and firmly established. On the day of Pentecost, the church was brought forth. We who believe are the priests and kings to serve God and reign with Christ. We are a holy nation, a people of God’s own possession. We are no longer our own; we have been bought at the high price of the precious blood of Christ (Isaiah 28:16; 1 Peter 2:5).
- Our lives should express God’s holy life. We were once prisoners, enslaved in the kingdom of darkness. However, He has set us free and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son. We were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Now we are God’s people and have obtained mercy (1 Pet. 1:15; 2:10 ; Col. 1:13; Eph. 5:8-13 ).
- One day mercy reached us! God gave us the opportunity to be grafted into Christ, the good olive tree, and today we partake of the holy root of God. Therefore, we must fervently desire the genuine milk of the Word. Let us not lose this opportunity, nor harden our hearts! Let us love the Word, which is the sap of the holy root that gives us growth for the salvation of our soul. Let us reign and be priests of God and of Christ for a thousand years.
- How intense will the glory in each of us be? (…) What will determine the splendor of each one’s glory? The way each one lived here on Earth: whether or not we were faithful to God, whether or not we did His will, how much we allowed the divine life to grow and the truth to be worked in us (1 Cor 15:35-41) (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 3, Sunday, p. 53).
