- God, through the death and resurrection of Christ, has won the victory. Christ carried out God’s plan starting from His incarnation, with His perfect human life in which He was fully obedient to God, and His vicarious death, that is, the Righteous for the unrighteous, to lead man to God. This is the great victory. He has succeeded in bringing us all to the Father! Through His death and resurrection, today we are brought to the Father and can live in enjoyment (Rom 5:1-2; 1 Pet 3:18;).
- Noah’s ark represents baptism. Through the death of Christ, all of us who were supposed to die in the waters of the flood were saved through the ark. We deserved to die, but Christ died for us. When we believe in Jesus, we die with Him, but we are also resurrected with Christ. He brought us up with Him in the resurrection (1 Pet. 3:21-22; Rom. 6:3-5).
- We have been regenerated to this living hope, and through the circulation of life the Lord is saving and sanctifying us more and more through the truth. We are living more and more by the will of the Father, and His will is to make Christ head over all things (1 Pet. 1:3; Eph. 5:26; Eph. 1:9-10).
- “Satan has been attacking the prophetic word, because he wants to take us back to darkness. Nevertheless, he will not succeed. In fact, he knows that he will lose his kingdom; so, he is desperate. Remember: the prophetic word will lead us to victory. We will conquer the whole Earth for the Lord, and Christ will head up all things” (Eph. 6:11; Rev. 12:12; 2 Pet. 1:19; Eph. 1:9-10) (He who Has an Ear, Let Him Hear! Sardis Lessons in Revelation, Background I, Sunday, p. 72).
