DAILY IMMERSION IN THE PROPHETIC WORD Sunday | Mess. 21 – Jesus is Arrested and Unjustly Tried

Peter denied Jesus three times, demonstrating our inability and lack of knowledge of our condition. The natural man cannot be trusted. Peter denied Jesus and wept bitterly because he realized how incapable he was (John 13:37-38; Jer. 17:5; Luke 22:61-62).
Jesus did not come to be king of some kingdom of this world, but His kingdom is heavenly. We preach the gospel of the kingdom in the streets because Jesus is coming to take this earth again for Himself and thus establish the kingdom of heaven here (John 18:36-37).
The Lord Jesus was born to be king and rule over all nations. His kingdom is not of this world and will have no end. He was born as the King, the Prince of Peace, who executes judgment and righteousness (Luke 1:26-33; Isa. 9:6-7).
“The new birth has already taken us to where God is, and our new nature belongs to that dimension, for we were generated by the word of truth, which is in eternity (James 1:18)” (Daily Food, Book 6, Week 3, Sunday, page 56)
