- It is not by teaching morality that we are able to free ourselves from the corruption of this world, but by partaking of the divine nature. How can we partake of the divine nature? By faith in the word, by immersing ourselves in it, inculcating it in ourselves, and making it circulate in the Body of Christ. Without realizing it, we will overcome the corruption that is in the world (2 Pet 1:3-4; Deut 6:6-7; Eph 5:18b-19).
- The devil wants to occupy our hearts, and God needs them for the kingdom to grow. Our hearts are the center of dispute. Once we are free from the corruption of worldly lusts, our hearts are ready for the Lord to grow in us (Prov. 4:23; 1 Pet. 1:23; Luke 8:11-12).
- Thank God, our faith is dynamic, and what gives us this energy is the word. The word is not static, but operates, when labored on, when we inculcate it in ourselves through war cries, through taking notes, transcription, sleeping with God, waking up with God, and teaching one another. Let us fill ourselves with the power of life, and this power will make the portion of land we have received produce! (2 Pet 1:5-8).
- As soon as we detect any sin, we must confess it and cleanse ourselves, returning to fellowship. Confessing our sins and not hiding them is the way to maintain fellowship in life. And by immersing ourselves in the word, speaking it to one another and allowing the word to dwell richly in our hearts, we will fulfill God’s will, which is to build up the church, spread the gospel of the kingdom throughout the inhabited Earth and bring back our beloved Lord Jesus! (Pr 28:13; Heb 9:14) (Daily Food, Book 1, Week 3, Sunday, p. 56-57).
